Code of Ethics

This Code of Ethics shall apply to the entire Actebis Group in Europe with all employees, representatives and people working on a contractual basis for the Company; subsequently called Actebis and employees.
What is Ethics about?
The word „ethics“ is derived from the Greek language meaning habit, custom, tradition, character.
Ethics discuss what kind of behaviour is considered to be suitable and unsuitable. They deal with the fundamentals of human values and norms as well as moral standards.

others the way they want to be treated.

Why does Actebis implement Codes of Ethics?
For Actebis values and norms are very important. Therefore, the purpose of this guideline is to set forth the standards of responsibility for Actebis which all employees are expected to observe. Failure to follow these standards could result in legal consequences.
Codes of Ethics aim at protecting honest employees, supporting the ethical values of the Company and at doing business with honest partners respecting legal boundaries.

If you have reason to believe that anyone is violating any of these policies, we encourage you to actively deal with this matter, i.e. speak up to the person in question first and/or turn to your supervisor. These policies are subject to modifications as necessary from time to time to meet conditions and laws in other countries and changing situations.
All supervisors are expected to discuss this policy with their staff minimum once a year.
