A very eventful year - management changes and disposal plans unsettle both the workforce and the industry. The company sells its Targa brand in order to concentrate fully on distribution. ACTEBIS Network can look back at a successful initial year. The concept is extended to Europe: the cooperation for system integrators is founded in Austria and Switzerland. Actebis can now see the first successes of its investment in the IT infrastructure and continue building on this.

The nationwide ACTEBIS Network, cooperation for system integrators, is founded in Germany and is aimed at networking the individual business channels so as to provide optimal support to partners on the SMB market. The commissioning of the highly automated warehouse for small parts sets new standards for quality in the field of IT logistics. Other companies begin working with SAP. The Actebis Group now has an IT infrastructure in Germany and Austria that will enable it to meet future challenges.

The market is difficult but the Actebis Group is able to maintain its leading position in Europe. The Actebis Group invests in its IT infrastructure by introducing SAP and a new logistics concept, thereby enabling it to respond effectively to market changes. The first changeovers of the ERP system and the business management and accounts software to SAP R/3 are completed and the first steps in the new logistics concept are implemented with the opening of the new large-parts logistics centre.

ACTEBIS Holding GmbH takes over ABC Data Sp.z.o.o. in Warsaw. This means that the Actebis group has subsidiaries in 13 European countries and is the third largest distribution company in Europe, based on turnover.
