The Actebis group turned 20 in May and celebrated with over 1,000 birthday guests at the company’s German headquarters. The company’s first branch outside Germany – Actebis Austria – also celebrated its 15th birthday. E-business efforts have paid off – at the beginning of the year, the German branch became the first ever distributor to win the “Excellent E-Shop” award for its online ordering system. The Austrian branch also runs an “excellent” shop.

One year on from the merger, Actebis Peacock in Germany has achieved great success. The consumer electronics sector, which is still relatively new, came of age in the summer when Home Entertainment Day – a major event covering all aspects of consumer electronics products and solutions – attracted a large number of manufacturers and customers to Soest, Germany. E-business also performed well. New tools such as the Händlershop (online shopping system for retailers) and Bonus Club enjoyed a successful launch.

Actebis simplifies its structures and workflows. The German distributors Actebis and Peacock operate as a single company - Actebis Peacock GmbH & Co. KG. The website and the dealers' shop at www.actebispeacock.de are completely revised. New applications for networking ERP systems set new standards in the field of e-business. Actebis continues to invest in the growing markets for consumer electronics, mobility solutions, communication, security as well as printers and multifunctional systems. The year ends for the Actebis group very successfully with a 20% increase in turnover compared to the previous year. Many awards were received from vendors and retail magazines honouring the great achievements.
