Torben Qvist, born on 8th June in 1958 in Haslev, Denmark, worked for various IT companies after completing his studies at the commercial college in Copenhagen, where he specialised in marketing and economics. He also took on the position as managing director for Berendsen Computer Products A/S as well as for Computer 2000 A/S and worked as a consultant for Mercuri Urval.

In 2000 Torben Qvist became Actebis Computer A/S Denmark’s managing director. He joined the Actebis Board in June 2002. Next to the Actebis companies in Denmark and Norway a new Nordic country organization in Sweden was set up in 2006. Since then Torben Qvist has been managing the three north European Actebis companies.
